So brackets just came out and early odds as well. I'm not a big fan of several match ups, feel like some of the strong under dogs like Stony Brook got tough match ups.

I typically bet against big favorites in the first round. Coaches rest their starters because of worries about game 2 and tougher opponent.

I'm sure I'll have a lot more later, after I have a chance to dig in a little further.

Where are you getting those lines? I'm getting Gonzaga -1.5 to -2.5 depending on which book I'm using. (which I think they will use their experience to cover). If I can find Gonzaga as an underdog I will be all over that.

 

Seton Hall +2.5 according to RJ Bell from ESPN, I will take that money line heavily

Also like Wichita State -2 or -4 vs Vandy (probably didn't deserve to get in)

 

Just pulled from some news sites so not sure which book. I saw some CG lines go up but haven't checked since I posted this.

 

Seton Hall opened a -1 fave and has been bet to a +2.5 dog.

I hope that keeps moving. I want to take Seton Hall and want as many points.

I'll be digging in a lot tonight and tomorrow but my initial thought was the game I liked the most was UConn -3. That could be my biggest bet of the first round.

 

Seton Hall took out #2 seeds Xavier and Villanova in consecutive games to win their conference tournament, I think a money line bet on them or plus however many points you can get is a solid one.

 

I'm with ya. I like teams with momentum on their side and that have shown the ability to win against tough opponents.

Especially this year when parity has reigned supreme.

I'm also probably going to take a shot on UNCW knocking Duke off
