I am counting down the days until my annual March Madness trip to Vegas. I will attempt to do a live trip report packed full of pictures with gambling, drinking, basketball , and who knows what else. Here are some details about the trip:

Crew:
AG - brother in law, took him to Vegas for his 21st birthday and he's now in love with Vegas/gambling (yes, I'm a great influence), will be cheering for OU all week as he played baseball there, flying in Wed morning out Tues
Dr - good buddy, loves sports so wanted to see why I go to Vegas for March Madness, wasn't sure he would make it as he will be getting back from Europe for an Arsenal game right before it starts, flying in Thurs night and leaving Sat
Me - flying out Tues afternoon from Dal, no return flight booked

Hotels:
Cosmo - Where I'm staying
Harrahs - Have viewing party passes so booked a room just in case A) I actually go to the viewing party, get drunk, want to crash B) AG wants to sleep with someone he doesn't want us to know about

Viewing Parties:
- Hoops & Hoops at Cosmo
- Harrahs
- The Still (new place at Mirage, opening the week of MM so could be a cluster fuck, their restaurant is an Airstream trailer food truck - actually looks cool, not sure I'll go but have a reservation)

Other Shit:
- Penn & Teller: AG and I may go Wednesday and use my diamond comp tickets. Usually I look at the list of choices and try to pick the least shitty of the shitty list.
- Clubs: Have a good connection at Drais. Will probably go at least once
- Arsenal game: they play Sat morning early so I will go with DR to watch. Found a Vegas Arsenal fan pub so he is pumped about that.

Gambling:
Blackjack - 60% of time
Craps - 35% of time
Baccarat - 5% of time, set aside a few K for some baccarat as I am still learning, I know the basics but want to spend at least a few hours playing.
Sports Betting: 100% of the time, NBA/NCAAB

Testing upload via Tapatalk. These are my 2 favorite tech travel items. Slim charging case and portable charger for phone/iPad. During MM my battery tends to die quick as I'm checking line movements, injury updates, etc.

AG sent me a pic of some throwback jerseys he ordered since this trip is about basketball.

 

A buddy (red chip player) wanted to go to Winstar last night so I figured I would go and try and get a small win in to add to my Vegas bankroll. Not a fan of the .50/1.00 ante but it's the closest place to Dallas.

We ended up only staying an hour and this is my profit from a double deck table ($5-200 limits) playing 2 hands of $50-100. No double downs allowed after a split, and can only double on 9-11. Definitely shitty table rules.

Nice way to pad the BR before the trip. I'll be out there as well. Going to the party at Caesars though.

 

Staying there too? I stayed there last month and was close to swearing it off after how shitty they were. They tried charging me $150 for a late checkout until I told them I would just book an entire extra night on comp and just leave when I needed to...

 

Staying there as well. I've never had any problems. I've really been thinking about switching over to Cosmo, Venetian or Wynn. Just have lots of history with CET and I like being able to move around and play at different casinos.

 

Same. This is my first trip with Cosmo so I'll see how it goes. Curious to see how bad their theo actually is lol.
