Staying at Wynn at the end of the month. I about fell out of my chair when looking at their spa prices. It was $400 or so just for the wife. Anyway, any recommendations for a reasonably priced spa close to the Wynn? TIA

Wynn is top of the line -- and the Strip spas are going to be similarly expensive. I find they're worth it, but you may get a bit of a price break at Mandalay or Vdara ... still expensive.

If you play myvegas there is a slight discount at Vdara as one of the items you can redeem. The spa at Cosmo isn't quite $400 for one person but still it's not cheap. The 80 minute is worth it though.

What kind of treatment are you talking about?

Because you can get a massage for a lot less than $400 even at Wynn.

The prices on the strip are high but only slightly more than other nice hotels around the country. But they also tend to have much nicer and more robust spas.

Strip hotels are all roughly the same. Most massages run in the $160ish range.

With the other amenities the spa had to offer, it's well worth it. I've been to canyon ranch many times and the money spent is well worth it.

You really don't need any additional treatments other than the one to get you in the door.

I take it back. Looks like Canyon Ranch is charging $175 for a basic massage these days. Still well worth it, imo.

If you look on in Vegas Groupon, sometimes there are packages for Mandara Spa which operate out of a few casinos. I wouldn't necessarily recommend the Mandara Spa out of Paris for the facilities, but both my friend and I had excellent treatments there. You can save as much as 40-60% on treatments.
