I had the same experience at far lower levels in Tunica at the Fitz. I pressed to $75 and it was like a suit vacuum. I had to comment to them and they actually smiled. Some of these casinos are shocked to see towers of red, let alone black or purple action. Crazy, considering the sizable amounts of cash that pass through at even the smallest of casinos.

 

It is mind blowing that that action gets so much attention but I've seen it on a friend of mine when we were there once and it was ridiculous.

Makes me wonder if they'd even take Nates action?!?!

 

I was playing $1 single play DDBP in the HL room at Don Laughlins three years ago and they brought me chicken wings! Never seen that in a HL room. I texted a very drunken Macker that wings were on the way and he was there in minutes! Let me see if I have a pic of him from that.....It was actually three years ago today according to FB. Allow me to get the picture for all of you.....

Probably not on the real HL action. I was betting small as I only had a limited amount of cash on me, and we were just passing through. They were asking all kinds of questions, most of them the usual, but really trying to figure out where I came from and what was I doing betting like that on a low limit table. AFAIK, there is no real high limit action in Laughlin. They just don't want it. They cater to the snowbirds and the river crowd.

 

Found it! Three years ago today! The lil buckaroo...he played hard that night....No pics of the wings but this was the elevator at Harrah's going back to the room.

Could maybe affect their quarterly report?

 

Yeah, I don't know. I was up a couple thousand and quit, and they were asking why I was leaving as I know they wanted a chance to get their $$ back.
