For any other poker players out there, or anyone interested to know what goes on in the head of a professional player, check out Andrew Neeme's video blog on YouTube. He comes off as a nice guy with a positive vibe, and shows you plenty of poker action plus some fun clips of him doing "Vegas stuff" like eating at the Peppermill, or grabbing a cheap beer at O'Sheas. Aside from the poker analysis, I enjoy his videos since I get to live vicariously. I've played in the same games at most of the same poker rooms, so I feel like I'm there.

Just started watching it the other day, watched four of his videos, pretty interesting that he covertly records his poker sessions. I haven't watched the Q&A vidoes yet to know if it was asked and answered how he gets away with this, but I have to wonder if his video blog gets more popular will the poker rooms and/or other "regulars" he plays against make him stop if they know he's doing it?

He does talk about that - a little - in one of his Q&A vlogs. He mentions that all he uses at the table is his iPhone and he's careful not to record anyone's else's likeness. He focuses only on his cards and betting action. Still, I suspect his activity could be considered a violation of any "no electronics at the table" or "no filming other patrons" rule a poker room or casino might have.

There's a good chance I'll find him in the Bellagio poker room during my upcoming trip. If I get the chance I'll ask him. Personally it wouldn't bother me knowing he's filming at the table (unless he catches me playing like a fish...) and have no intention of being a narc, but only because I've seen his vlogs and know there won't be any violation of my privacy. I could see others objecting though, either out of genuine privacy concerns or just trying to put him on tilt.

Other guys are doing similar poker vlogs though, so it's not like regular players or cardroom managers are unaware. I only mentioned Andrew's here since it's better than any of the others I've checked out.

I too started following Neeme's blog at the beginning of this week. Showed up as a recommended item on my Youtube feed. Good stuff. I like the fast-forwarding through unplayed hands, then reasonable (but not overblown) commentary on the played hands. Good tone & delivery. Overall, thumbs up! I can't play at Bellagio but if I ever see him at the other locations I will certainly share feedback.

We really enjoy Andrew's and Troopers Vlogs.
They are different and both are good. Especially for those of us working / living oversea's in places with no gambling including on the internet.
We are booked for March Madness and can't wait to get back and gambooool !! :D

Agree, both Trooper and Andrew's vlogs are great. I'm not much of a poker player any more but this certainly gives me thought to try a little $1/$2 next trip. Trooper does a great job of including Vegas scenery background. Plus I now know where every Starbucks is in the entire strip / downtown area. Thanks for the heads up on these.

Now that several of the poker rooms have asked Andrew to not film at the table I like when he's not in Vegas so we can see the hands, but I do still appreciate his analysis of hands even if not recorded.

I played $1-$2 NL last night at Harrah's Joliet and found myself thinking "what would Andrew do?" several times. I bought in at $200 (that's the max) and cashed out at $358 - thanks Andrew!

The one thing that really shines through comparing the two vlogs is how Neeme clearly has the temperament to be a pro, and Trooper clearly doesn't.

Without ever having played with either one you can already tell who blows off more chips while steaming over a beat.

It is a shame they can't hole-cam anymore.

I actually watch Andrew's vlog and it's pretty good. I don't agree with his play much of the time and his logic, but he seems to do pretty well.
