In Las Vegas, I over-indulge. This is the way it always has been, and this is the way it always will be. I get a drink at breakfast or with coffee, and continue until I go to sleep. Because of this, I try to stick with what's light. I'll drink mimosas in the morning and bud lights through the day because they don't weigh me down. A few hours before I'm ready to crash, I might order something a little stronger. Maybe a house drink with dinner or a good G&T. I have tried to go with RB Vodkas, but they give me the worst hangovers known to man.

If you're an over-indulger like me and have a drink in your hand 24/7, what is your go to drink in Sin City? What keeps you going without putting you to sleep?

At the tables, Typically macallan neat in Vegas.. Except for an occasional mimosa or bailys and coffee in the mornings... Or outside by the pool

I struggle with self regulation. If I drank scotch neat 24/7 I might die.

I'm all-day, all-in in Vegas, too. I'll start with Champagne or cocktail at breakfast (see my well-known love of French 75s and Corpse Revivers), wine pretty much anytime throughout the day, Champagne or light beer at the pool, Champagne at the spa, vodka soda at the tables, an occasional bloody mary, and probably too many vodka-Red Bulls. I'd say I'm about 75% wine, 25% cocktails throughout the course of the day, and I try the best I can to modulate with water so I don't get too trashed ... chances of ending up trashed? About 95%.

I had never even heard of a corpse reviver until you posted it in the other thread. It sounds good, but in looking for that I found the CR#2 which sounds outstanding!

Sugar free red bull (no alcohol) for about an hour, then mimosas til about 3pm, then IPAs or margaritas or rum drinks until disco nap time. Then more IPAs or light beer if I've had too much already. Sometimes a rum and coke if I'm getting sleepy. And water, water, water all day.

I drink like a fish in Vegas, and am only a light drinker (occasional beer, wine) outside of Vegas. I like strong, spicy Bloody Mary's in the morning, then on to beer, then late afternoon either wine or Ketel + soda / two limes. My problem is the mixing of all the different types of alcohol. Funny thing is, for as little as I drink when not in Vegas, I sure can put 'em down when I am in town.

I also almost never drink beer in Vegas.. Occasionally I'll grab a beer from Walgreens if I'm taking a walk down the strip but never order one while playing.. Always champagne or hard liquor

I too am an unabashed lover of imbibing during most of my waking hours in vegas. Usual routine is Goose and Juice (orange) with some VP bar with the odd Caesar mixed in for sodium, and then shift to beers like Sierra Nevada/Goose Island IPA. The gin and tonics usually come out to play in the afternoon with beers interspersed, and try my best to avoid the siren song of scotch until the evening rolls around. Scotch and gins at the BJ table are usually a recipe for un-savy bankroll management that I seem to specialize in.

I have cut out visits to CET diamond lounges out of my life- too many times I've stumbled out of the Caesar s diamond lounge homeless drunk after a session with Richard the bartender. Sitting at the wood there is a risky proposition to your liver health. Its home of the bottom less red wine glass and too many shots..

Last few trips I've been trying to maintain a strict water intake along with the sauce and have been keeping pockets full of powdered pedialtye that are perfect for dumping into the little casino bottled waters.
