I am considering extending Vegas trip and using RC's for 1 night stay in a Lanais at Mirage. Have not been to Mirage in years and thought would be fun to just relax for 1 night before heading back to real world. Was looking at the 1 bdrm Lanais and wanted to see if anyone has ever staying in one. (Although they do look a little dated, something different)
If you have stayed in one....what was your opinion?

 

They are starting a remodel of the Lanais now. I think a few have been done. I went to a reception in one of the larger Lanais a couple months back and it was beautiful. Pool in the backyard, wet bar, nice as anything else I have seen. Was teasing my MGM host who was with me that he may be in for a shock when I do a stay at the Mirage in one of those rooms. My Mirage host was within earshot and said no problem getting one of the larger remodeled Lanai rooms. I know there are some smaller ones at the beginning of the hallway that may be more dated.

 

Just watch Vegas vacation for rusty's room (the basic layout at least)

 

Hmmm...... I may have to check into. More than likely, the 1 bedrooms are probably last to get the remodel. Thanks!

Hey, he did promise to fly me on a helicopter to SF for the Packer game. Still waiting on that one, lol

 

Lanais are great. The room Rusty had in VV is exactly what it is. The pool and bathroom are exceptionally relaxing. Go right out the back of the patio and you are at the pool. Great convenience, I stay in the Lanais for solo trips and Villas if I with friends. Definitely worth it, butler service exceptional. Make sure tou order some fresh chips as soon as you get in, they are phenomenal
