I'm checked into my flight so it's time to start one of these things. I'm almost packed, just waiting on a few things in the dryer to finish while watching some baseball. It's a good one right now between the Astros and Royals.

This trip is basically 2 in 1. For the last couple of years I've been trying to get a small guys trip together. And the way it worked out is that the guys could do the trip the week before I was already planning on being there. Instead of trying to reschedule I say why not make it one long trip and 9 nights! Flying out tomorrow and meeting up with friends coming from Tampa and west Africa (via Chicago, he's in Africa for work). And on Sunday they fly home and the gf flies in. We originally were flying in Monday but she moved up the flight to Sunday. I was fine going solo for a night but she's coming in.

Thanks to shifter for the George Strait tickets. Still gotta work out those details. Splitting time at Downtown Grand and Cosmo.

Expect mild chip porn of black chips and maybe a purple or yellow. And lots of video poker porn, going for a royal on something bigger than quarter.

I hardly ever leave the loop except for work so I'm barely aware of anything that might involve Katy, sugar land , etc. I'm a ITL snob, haha.

Woke up to my limo confirmation, makes it feel even more real. The buddy that was in Africa for work should be landing in Chicago in a couple of hours. He's going to have just enough time to drop stuff off at his condo and then right back to ohare.

I'm actually working today. Let's pray for my productivity.
