This will be a solo trip

Flying out on a CET sponsored junket from JFK to Harrahs Lake Tahoe for 5 nights. This is my first time out there so I'm not sure what to expect.

Flight on Thursday leaves JFK at 730pm and I'll arrive in Reno at 11pm.

I've gotten some suggestions about things to do while I'm there but continue to welcome ideas and tips.

    I might try the spa.

I'm still on the fence about renting a car for the entire trip bc it may just sit parked the entire time when my degenerate gene kicks into high gear and I'm slumming at the craps tables for 18 hours a day. I may just rent for a day and take a drive around the lake.

I'd also like to hear recommendations for food bc I have no clue.

I do not drink so bars do not interest me.

The weather is still nippy there with temps in the 30's at night and 60's during the day which will be perfect for some hikes and walks.

The host out there already reached out to me and said that she upgraded my room to an executive room with a lake view. I'm assuming that's a good thing.

I was also told that as a Seven Star I get 4 Ski Passes/Gondola passes which I heard is cool to ride as you get nice vista views of the lake from an observation deck half way up.

I also received an invite to “THE BIGGEST SLOT TOURNAMENT EVER” 1st place =$500K. All the other winners share the remaining $500K. I posted about this in the slot section. I've never played slots let alone a tournament. It should be a fun diversion. Not sure how my arms and hands are going to feel afterwards. Luckily I like jerking off with both hands.

I also got tix to see a David Bowe Tribute Band on Saturday.

That's all I have planned for now. The rest will be played by ear.

Stay tuned. I really can't wait.

South Lake is not that close to Reno. Prob 45 minute drive with no traffic. If they provide a ride to casino from airport I would take it. You can rent a car later. Sage room at Harvey's wasn't bad. The also do a table side bananas foster. Enjoy.

There is a steakhouse in Harvey's that used to be really good, maybe called Sage. Anyway, If you try it, they had a warm spinach salad they would make tableside that was special.

I'm sitting at my desk trying to finish a brief, which is due tomorrow, but my mind keeps wandering to Lake Tahoe and getting to the craps table. Of course, it doesn't help that I'm on here following Craps_Player's TR and reading about his 12 sessions of craps in 3 days LOL

I love South Tahoe and go there as often as possible, but I've never really had any amazing food there. There is a pub called Macduffs that has great fish and chips. That's about it. As mentioned above, the sage room is serviceable, with a decent prime rib and scotch selection. The cigar bar at Harrahs, up on the 11th floor or something is nice and has a great view.

A rental car is recommended since all the good hikes are outside of walking distance, and the drive around the lake is lovely.

The town, however, is amazing and I will move there someday.

Good luck. The lake is great. The water is super clear.
