    Trips to Vegas:
    2
Well it's Sunday night and only 2 more sleeps until Vegas!

This is our 3rd trip to Vegas and my second trip review (we went in May, then again for 4th of July weekend). Needless to say, I'm hooked. Last trip, I admittedly wasn't a great travel companion and that's something I plan on improving this trip (both trips it was just the wife and I). I basically just degened the entire trip and didn't take what she wanted to do into consideration. Flat out - I was a dick. So this time, I've planned some different things to keep us busy on the front end of the trip. Then, on the back end of the trip, we have 3 other couples joining us. I've booked a room for 2 couples to stay in at the Tropicana (offer based on play at my local).

I know that not everything you plan out gets done in Vegas, but I really do think that there's a good chance we complete 90% of our wishlist this trip. Here's the Plan so far:

    Tuesday
    -
Arrive Tuesday early evening. Check into Golden Nugget for a 1 night stay, eat on Fremont somewhere, gamble everywhere downtown (lots of Craps), and go to bed

Wednesday - Spend the day at the Golden Nugget pool, relax, and gamble at whatever games they have at the pool (most likely shitty 6/5 BJ). Late afternoon, we will check into Cosmo and have dinner at Scarpetta. Play a little more at Cosmo and try to get to bed somewhat early (doubtful).

Thursday - Wake up early, drive out to Red Rocks and drive the scenic loop. Hit Red Rocks Resort and play a little bit and check out the property. Then to Tropicana to check into our double booked room and meet up with two couples that will be staying there. Dinner at Javiers in Aria (Lobster Enchiladas) and then to Caesars for Absinthe. Then time for a strip crawl until the wee hours. I'm guessing the girls will be in bed around midnight and the guys will be out until the sun comes up

Friday - Friday will probably be filled with pool time and gambling. Mrs. Hard 4 really wanted to see Ray Lamontagne at The Palm, so I got us tickets. We will split from the group and do dinner and the show. After the concert, we'll meet back up with the group (8 total) and either gamble up and down the strip or go downtown for the night. The other couples haven't done Fremont Street before, so that might be fun. Plus, like I've mentioned before on here, Mrs. Hard4 believes that the less classy the casino, the better her luck.

Saturday - No plans yet - Maybe a cabana at one of the pools and more gambool. Dinner at Carbone. We fly out 6AM Sunday morning, so I'll be staying up all night and going straight to the airport.

Also on the to-do list: Eat at Yardbird, check out SLS, couples massage (per Mrs. Hard4), Play Craps at Cromwell, pop my Handpay cherry, meet up with VB members on Saturday

Gambling Strategy: Hit and run on Blackjack. Play one or two shoes max and take the profit on to the next place. For Craps, lots of pass line and don't pass with full odds (love playing dark side), no crazy bets with high HA. Most importantly, NO GOING ON TILT (hopefully).

I think that's it for now. 2 more sleeps...

Sounds great! It's kind of funny as our roles are reversed. I'm the degenerate and my husband prefers to do things other than gambling. He is content to play bartop VP and drink, as long as he has someone to chat with. Last trip he decided to BUY rounds for all his new friends at the bar. I about died when I saw the $100's he charged to the room while I was slotting. Lol Luckily my host took care of most of HIS charges and all of mine except tips. I'm going to surprise him with booking him a massage and shave/cut at Cosmo or Palazzo spa. Haven't decided which. Both are outrageously priced. Then go shopping and find him a nice outfit to wear for dinner for our anniversary. May go with a group to a strip club and buy him a lap dance or something....As a man would you like that as a gift or should I go another direction? We usually don't buy gifts for each other so I have trouble finding something he would enjoy and he doesn't really need anything tangible. Have a great time, safe travels, and win!

Heather - there's nothing like a barber shop shave, so I vote yes to that. I like strip clubs and lap dances as much as anyone, but a lap dance as a present from my wife, while she is there would not seem fun to me. Just my opinion though...
