Any recent experience? Use to stay there a lot back in the day. Still get plenty of comp offers and haven't set foot in the place in many years. I had heard they changed all blackjack to 6:5, but now have brought some 3:2 back. I'm considering this for a business trip because of the ease of driving in/out. Good gambling is the priority though ☺️

From sometime in 2009 to August of last year I stayed at the HRH once, sometimes twice a month, for business. As you point out... getting in and out of the place and around town is far superior to joints on the strip or downtown. Cant say much for the gambling, cause I'm a couple hundred dollar (.50-$1 level) a night bar-top VP player for a few hours after work. Luxe Bar in the HRH Tower is great for that. Hopefully, someone will comment on the table games... though they have lots of them, I seldom used to see them busy except for late hours on weekends.

Somehow I missed this when you posted it,but thanks for the response. Looks like this will be a base for business for a few weekdays in June. Used to play a lot of DD bj 3:2 for 25 or 50 a hand. Looks like that is out. Unless I run hot, it will be 6 deck. Business trip, so not heavy gambling (theoretically)

I'm a fan of Hard Rock and last couple trips, I've usually stayed there for at least part of it. The place still is busy weekend or concert nights and feels dead otherwise (I like that it has that mix). I can't speak much to BJ, but the times I remember playing I was able to find fairly low limit $10 3/2 (can't remember other rules). Comp offers are pretty good with some minimal focused play, and I'm a fan of any resort that waives resort fee for comp players. I do think they could use one or two more quick dining options, but the new pizza place might fit that category. Sometimes you just want to pick up something quick and take it up to the room and HR really doesn't have that as an option.

Lyft and Uber work great from there, the front is easy for pickups and the price to get to strip is ridiculously low.

I was there last Thursday and Friday night and enjoyed myself immensely. Won $1,000 (4-A's w kicker) on a VP machine at the new Center Bar, which hadn't opened-up before my last visit. Bartenders and staff throughout were pretty much the same people and friendly as always. Some weirdo next to me kept buying me shots of Silver Patron... had to ask him to stop as it wasn't mixing well with my Jack & Cokes. Good crowd both nights and I was moving slower on the way out than I was on the way in, so I know I had fun. Got into the back of the Hard Rock Escalade at 9:00 AM on Saturday morning and was at gate C-25 for the flight out by 9:20 AM! Thanks TSA Pre-Check and a gate right next to security!

Most people come in and out of the Hard Rock via the main entrance and the couple times I used the valet there, it was kinda chaotic. I suggest using the valet-service in the HRH Tower off of Harmon instead. I've found them to be exceptional!!!
