Hi all! I've seen the tiki bars mentioned in the Checklist thread - wanted to tell you that Golden Tiki is a must-see. It was the coolest place - probably 3-4x the size of Frank's, psychedelic music, side rooms with couches, great drinks.

A local msg. board friend kept saying we gotta go there, I'm like yeah yeah OK, (I hadn't been to Vegas in 2 years & didn't want to leave the strip), but it was fabulous. And not that far off the strip, from what I recall. I'm surprised there is not more internet buzz about it, but maybe I wasn't paying attention.

Not sure if I posted pics correctly, be gentle on me. Seems to only let me post 3 pics

Hmmm, I don't know myself. I just paid for my drink; I was there more to party than play. Besides it's less expensive for me that way, more often than not..

Spent a good time at this place during my last trip, $5 Mai Tai's at happy hour along with free appetizer bar (just wings, egg rolls and potstickers but they were good) ...we stumbled out of there and over to Lee's Sandwiches for cheap eats before heading back to strip. Will definitely go back, so much nicer than Frankie's. Service was much better during the day than when we went back the following night. Took Lyft and it was $10 from Luxor

Was not comped for playing VP...the drinks are tasty and strong, so I didn't mind paying

I plan on checking this place out in the summer when I'm here for a week.
