So that was you who killed my favorite single deck game on the planet?:banghead: Lol

I was a diamond player there for a few years, but I actually self banned myself when I won a good 5 figure jackpot at 4 card poker due to all of the host/pit boss inconsistency over a two month period. I had enough. It was quite funny, I had 2 of the higher ups literally run out and ask me what the issue was and what they could do to fix it. Too little too late. Signed the paperwork, took my picture and they made sure I got to my car and off the property. Haven't been back.

I like Pala and Rincon better. Slowly starting to get established again. Keyword slowly.

I've been there once. I normally like to drink while playing and can't do that there. I also like that Harrah's helps me maintain 7*.

I'm not normally a big player so the higher limits don't really affect me. And the smell doesn't bother me, I grew up here and it's just normal. In fact, I duce by a bunch of cows near my house everyday too.

Barona offers me FreePlay too. And I'm not opposed to going there, but Harrah's Rincon is what of consider my casino.

Oops, forgot to update this. I'm pretty sure that I went sometime last month.

Also went a couple weeks ago. Limit was $1,500. I played a combination of craps and BJ and Baccarat. Won about $200 playing craps. Then went to Baccarat and was winning and losing a little. Finally I hit a Dragon 7 for $25 at 40:1.

Was up about $1,300. They were giving away drawing tickets everytime a bonus was hit (pair, Dragon 7, or 1 up). I had a half dozen tickets and the drawings were at thirty minutes after midnight and an hour after that.

I lost a few hands and went on tilt, went down $500. I got drunk at some point, went to the room for some cardio, and came back down for the drawing. Didn't win during the first drawing. Went up about $1,200 by hitting another Dragon.

Decided to sit out a few hands while waiting for the drawing. Didn't win.

Started playing again while waiting for the next drawing. Didn't win, and gave back a grand. I was still up a few hundred.

I wanted to leave more up so kept playing. Dragon hadn't hit in almost 40 hands and were only 50 hands into the shoe.

I was trying to low roll it ($50/hand) while playing $25 on Dragon each time. That wasn't smart. I wasn't winning enough to offset the losses of missing the Dragon bet.

67 hands later the shoe ended, no Dragon bet and I was down about a grand. Time to call it a night. I still had fun though, which is really my end goal every session.

Today was the 7* give away at my local. I was planning to make it an all day thing but that didn't work out. So new plan was go there for the FP and gift, play for an hour or so, and leave.

I got there and went to pick up the 7* gift first. It's a 14" Dell laptop. I haven't opened the box yet, but I'm guessing that it's a low end non-touchscreen model. Last year's gift was a 7" Galaxy tablet, much more useful. Tough to complain about a free laptop though.

After grabbing the laptop I stuck my card in a machine to check my points. A bonus came up telling me that I had some Freeplay because it's Sunday. I forgot that I also get a weekly bonus so I went to the TR desk to see what I had. They transferred the $60 from the machine and gave me another $110 in FP. So I'm starting off with $170 in FP and a free laptop, solid start.

I go to the cage and get four greens and 14 reds. I usually use the FP on the bonus or sucker bets. I swing by the craps tables to say hello to a couple of my dealers on the way to the baccarat table, my new favorite game.

I check the two tables, one has hit two Dragon 7s in the first 14 hands and the other has hit one Dragon seven in 20 hands. I pick the second table since I like to play the bonus bets in baccarat.

My base bet is $100 for this session, and I buy in with only $500. My limit today was $1,000, which typically means $1,500 or $2,000. But with only an hour to play and the intent to play conservative, I felt that I could keep it under control.

It starts lopsided, six Player wins, 12 Banker wins. There were a couple little Banker streaks and nothing consistent with Player. I should have logged it better so I could report it better.

I won the first few hands by going Banker, Banker, then felt a Player but didn't want to go against the streak. So I sat out, and Player hit. I got back in and went Banker, it hit. I played about 20 hands, lost about five of them, and pushed a couple.

I hit on bonus bet, a "One Up" on Player for $10 in FP, so a free $90. I used the FP only on the Player One ups, seven times with $10, and four times with $25. It only hit once, oh well.

Cashed out with $1,290 (up $790) and a free laptop after about an hour of play.

    Nice posts!
I also like Barona better..but the man has a point that Harrahs So-Cal helps build 7*...The rooms are a toss-up...I like Barona's rooms with the small balcony..but I also like the Rincon North Tower rooms (facing east) because they have a nice big bathroom/tub. (Almost jacuzzi size)

Never stayed at Barona and have only played there once. I like the suites at Harrahs SoCal though, especially their first floor suites that open to the pool.
