Well kids, Big Sack had a pretty fun "Only In Vegas Night", last night. Sadly it only came with one pic that will make those of us who play Craps very sad and mildly upset? Big Sack is usually bad about giving text updates but I told him I was posting him up Semi Live he clearly is in. He even took that shower pic for us and told me I could post it so we cannot black mail him. Oh well. Now, without further ado let's talk about some poker and craps at Bally's....in a moment.....

 

So where were we? Big Sack heading to poker room after dumping a quick $100 at Sully's bar tops. I was actually chatting with Donny on FB and he said the Sully's bar tops have been a bit tight this week. So buyer beware on that one. Or does that mean they are due? Rationalize at your discretion.

I was feeling old last night so I crashed at about 1:00ish MST. No texts from Big Sack. I awoke to a what sounds like what was a fun night. He buys in for $200 at a tough NL game. After awhile he is sitting at $225 and ready to go to Rio for some VP and a zip line. But he decides one more rotation. Well that $225 turns into felt. Oh who among us hasn't said one more rotation and then had that happen??

In the mean time a Aussie sits down and the table begins to immediately loosen up. According to BS he is super fun and betting like a maniac. He turns his $200 into $700 then felts that. Buys in again and turns that into $800. During the course of all of this he is playing rock/paper/scissors with player, dealers, and even cocktail waitresses for money. He observed BS go broke and to keep BS in the game he plays him a best 2 out of three Rock/Paper/Scissor for $100. BS says WTF and wins the first two and the guy gives him $100 and BS is back in the game. I will put a $100 game of R/P/S in the category of "Only In Vegas".

Then another Southern gentleman rolls into the game. He has never played poker but it looks fun on TV and he is in. In short order he is up to $600. Too easy! Dream scenario for him and for those who play poker consistently. As long as it's not YOUR money their is nothing better than a first timer winning!!! Keeps game fresh and people playing.

So BS gets in a big hand with First Timer and a rock in a hand. BS turns Queen high flush. Rock is firing but of course with 2nd nut flush Big Sack is going nowhere. The Rock apparently was not as granite like as BS thought as he only had a 10 high flush. BS pulls down a large pot. BS offers to pay the Aussie back the $100 from R/P/S but he won't hear of it. In fact Aussie wants to go play craps with BS. BS cashes out at $600 so not a bad cash out for a $200 buy in. I'd take that every time.

Off to the craps tables. Did someone say Firebet????

 

Before we get to the craps tables I forgot to add, Bally's has a new high hand system.

A guy turned a nut flush and rivered a straight flush. The straight flush gets you $100 automatically like many rooms. The twist now at Bally's when you get a straight flush they bring out four cards, one of each suit. If you guess the correct suit that matches your straight flush you get another $500. That is a crazy fun deal. And yes the guy picked out the correct suit so he won the pot plus another $600. A fun night of poker for Big Sack.

Now about those craps tables...

 

BS arrives with Aussie to a hot table where the shooter has hit four numbers on his role and activated a Fire Bet. BS says this guy can't miss. As BS buys in this shooter hits his 5th number. He then rolls about 6 sixes and eights before BAM hitting his 6th number for 1000:1 Fire Bet. BS said the guy rolled for a long time and in fact when it was over the dealer said that was the best roll he had seen in a year. The kicker....nobody but the shooter had bet the Firebet at this packed table!!!!! UGGGHHHHH. I can only imagine how much money some of you (I'm looking at you Nate, Shifter, Vegasbeejay) would have taken down on that one. Even I would have snagged $4000 on that one because I always bet $4 and $1 dealer on each shooter. Oh well. I will hit mine next weekend.

 

Big Sack was told this guy started with $25 in the rack. Dream shooter for us craps addicts. Hurts to see when you are not a part of it. Hurts more that this guy has mostly red coloured chips too! Should be more blacks and purples. Or other colours some of the big boys play with that might as well be Monopoly money to many of us!

So while BS did not enjoy the entire fruits of the roll he add to his winning night. Apparently the Aussie, caught up in Firebet madness and the intoxication of seeing a craps table pay out, bought in and gave money away furiously. The most egregious and unlucky event being him placing $500 on the Come Out and hitting a 12. Ouch! Although a sound bet by the numbers, I would have spread that across the 5-9 if I was gonna play.

So Big Sack's night started off rather poorly but he pulled out a nice tidy little profit before bed time.

 

How does Big Sack follow up a big night? Did someone say Laughlin Road Trip???

Big Sack took my advice to play multi play .25 Ult X!!!
He lost his buy in and went to regular BP dimes. Pooooor Big Sack!! Still a $100 is a $100! And dealt quads are never bad.
