Well it feels like a good time to get next weekends TR started. Myself, JR, and two other couples shall be arriving on September 9 for three sunny, warm, drunky days of Vegas. Six days out means it might be just a bit early to get this ball rolling however....Big Sack is currently texting me from the Linq pool. And so with that in mind I thought it might be appropriate to serve up a little "Big Sack" appetizer before the main course of Gaggles, JR, and Crew.

Big Sack is running lone wolf down there right now and staying at Harrah's. Now our good friend, although Diamond, has been short playing CET on his last few trips. By short playing he's getting in about 1000 Tier points or so. SO despite having a Diamond Card, his numerous trips of low rolling are catching up just a bit. He had Ceasers Augustus comped last month and this trip he is at Harrah's because it's all he can get comped. Talk about a drop off. So info for all, the card does not equate to a big room comp.

Now having said that, I have not been low playing CET but my rooms have never been better. However my Vegas bank account is reflecting I am paying much more than the comps this year so Big Sack is currently a much bigger winner than me overall because I know he has lost/spent substantially less.

This trip was never supposed to happen but my friend surprised his wife with a 10 year anniversary present of a trip to Vegas and Brittany Spears tickets. They have not been to Vegas in three years nor have they had a vacation away form their kids for over a year. They are going to BUST OUT big time. I had made a pact with myself not to go to Vegas until Halloween as JR's birthday is October 30th but I haven't partied with the previously mentioned pair 6-7 years in this town so I caved.

I had originally started this out with a Jubilee King suite at Bally's but the married couple was booked at Flamingo so I moved over there and grabbed a Go Mini Suite. I started to examine every single property a couple weeks ago and options and I did something I never would have imagined I would ever do. I booked a room at Harrah's. I am not a big fan and their pool is simply the worst BUT they gave me an Executive King Suite. Macker has stayed in one before and so has another one of our friends. I checked some pics and some Youtube videos and they crush a Go Mini Suite so I locked it up. We will go join the crew at the Flamingo pool so no worries on Harrah's shitty pool.

Just a few days ago another happy couple booked as well and so at the moment we are up to six happy participants. This trip may have a little less gambling as the ladies ensure their will be all kinds of other activities. That is NOT a bad thing.

I have a small amount of Free Play with my offer and I am also enrolled in a $150000 slot tourney. I have no idea what the details of that are but somebody's gotta win. It might as well be me.

Friday night is 100% unstructured at the moment. Saturday is drunken pool day with the happy couple going to Brittany and I don't know what we are going to do that night. Sunday it appears as if we are going Down Town early after a day of pool drinking but other than that no plans. It is literally the least planned out trip I can recall.

Am I missing anything??? If I am I will add it as we go right?

Now what has Big Sack been up to??

 

Big Sack landed last night. It sounds like his trip and arrival were uneventful. He rented a car as well. He did text me today and stated "The Quads were angry". I took that as he was losing until he clarified.

He started his night DT at the Golden Gate to take advantage of some free play. He lost $120 with a flush as his best hand. Not even a Full House. That is unlucky. He drove back to the strip and found himself hunkered down at The Linq and of course Tag bar. He manged four quads, no premiums so he still donated about $150 but he said he played for a long time. He kept it light and breezy with .25 BP. I am going to make him throw in $100 for a minimum of Ult X Triple play BP because....well what does he have to lose???? His single play BP needs a shake up!!!

After that he went to The Venetian to try and get in a 4/8 game. He is a big fan of limit poker when he is drunk, as am I. They could not get a 4/8 game rolling. Everything was NL. Their used to be several 4/8 limit games going but apparently it's dying out a bit.

He stated "I played shitty but still made $50. Tried to catch a speeder but couldn't get cards". Fair enough. It is pretty fun catching speeders at a poker game but sometimes you just can't get em.

Tonight he may or may not go to Rio for a little zip line and perhaps a soda at Voodoo Lounge. He is currently LIVE from The Linq pool where a blow up doll is everyone's dance partner.

Now if we could just get some updates from Kimsa on her TR!?!?!?!!?

Big Sack took a stroll from Harrahs to Bally's to visit this character. This man has been responsible for some good times and a lot of hang overs for us over the years.
