Officially 1 week until departure and I'm getting antsy.

I'll be attempting my first (semi) live trip report, jam packed with food porn and hopefully chip porn.

We've got a bit on the agenda but a mostly clear schedule. Flying in with the GF Wednesday night out of JFK and meeting up with a friend from back home. Two comped nights at Harrahs to start off the festivities. Diamond with CET, so free will actually mean free.

More degenerates will be arriving on Friday as we switch over to the Cosmo. Real excited as I've yet to see the place, let alone stay there.

They depart Monday afternoon and the girl and I will head over to Rio to finish our trip with some more comped rooms.

As far as scheduled activities, were checking out the secret garden and dolphin habitat courtesy of myvegas. Also seeing Ka, gratis as well. This will be my first Cirque show.

Planning on applying my diamond dinner to Mesa Grill and possibly checking out Penn and Teller with my free show tickets. Will also pop into a diamond lounge or two to check it out.

Dinner reservations at Mesa Friday night. Brunch reservations Saturday morning at Border Grill since I've heard great things. Other than that, were wide open and hoping to enjoy some downtime in between raging alcoholism and low rolling degeneracy.

Countdown: 6 sleeps til Vegas.

Work is slow; perfect time for a brief introduction to the crew. Names have been truncated to protect the innocent

D: Me. The man. The myth. The legend. I am none of these things. A genuine child at heart, but gifted (cursed?) with a Machiavellian mind. I have an admittedly juvenile sense of humor, which pairs nicely with the rest of the crew. Down for just about anything at least once.

C: The girlfriend and my college sweetheart. We met early on in her freshman year to my junior. Once sweet and innocent, but my bad influence has rubbed off on her over the past 6 or so years. Girl sure can drink and likes her some video poker to boot.

A: Good friend from high school who grew up in the same beach town as me. Former D3 college wide receiver, so you know the kid can party. We've had some interesting experiences together and plan to add to the list in spades, regardless of whether or not we can remember.

B: Long time friend and founding member of the original wolfpack. The only representation from said group that will be present, so obviously the coolest of the bunch. Good looking guy who just straight chokes around pretty ladies. Let's see if Vegas can change that. Would love to get this guy laid while he's there.

M: B's little brother and recent addition to the 21 and over club. I remember this kid when he was 2 years old and have seen him grow up into a huge douche such as myself over the years. This will be his first Vegas experience, so we hope to make it memorable. M is a frat boy as well and is still in college, so I'm excited to see who will be trying to keep up with whom.

R: Realtor extraordinaire and by far the most successful of the crew. One of B's best friends from highschool and an all around great guy. We've hung out a bunch of times, but Vegas is a different kind of bonding experience. Excited to spend some time getting to know him better over a beer or ten.

Last but not least, the adorable Theodore "the panty snatcher" Bearington. Unfortunately... This cute boy will not be joining us. clearly, this news upsets him as well.

This is a great start and will be following along ... I will be at Cosmo the weekend of the 20th but run in different scenes .... I have a few (well many) years on you. However, I can generally keep up on the drinking end .. many years of experience. Good luck and have a great trip.

Sounds like a group who are ready to maximize the shenanigans. Looking forward to it. Pace yourself for the long run, and, by that, I mean sleep about four hours a night while you're there.
