Well after going to Vegas at least 5 times a year since I turned 21, this last year has been a little different. A 2 week trip to Cabo with the family and buying a new house has ate away at the bankroll. I am happy to say the one trip I will never miss is our one at the end of May, this year it's May 25-28. It's morphed from the Gaggles cancer survival trip, to his annual annual birthday trip and in more recent times the anniversary of my bachelor party. Personally I think it was switched to this because Gaggles can only have so many annual 35th birthday party trips before people start counting them up and age him.

I am happy to say that combined with a seat sale and points I've been able to get a West Jet flight for cheap, so you know what that means? NO ALLEGIANT AIR!!! FUCK THEM!!! I don't think I'm going to crash, but their planes suck and they are 50/50 on whether or not they are on time. Flight times for that weekend on Allegiant are shitty as well and more than I paid for the West Jet flight. I ended up with a morning direct flight and red eye home, so it really is like an extra day in Vegas.

My comps at CET have been going down hill lately, but I managed to get a comped room at Harrahs that weekend and have the Sunday night booked as well so no checking out at noon and flight not until 9PM. Nice to have a trip booked even if it is 5 months away.

 

It is a good feeling to have a trip on the books to look forward to. I also understand the flying hassle as even with multiple options, flying is the biggest deterrent to our Vegas Trips. Cannot wait to follow your shenanigans, especially scooter drag races with Gaggles!

 

Awesome, Macker! Adulting definitely cuts into the Vegas time. I'm probably cut back to twice a year now at most. But it makes the trips all the sweeter. Or, at least, that's what I tell myself. Glad you got May set up!

 

Have a great trip! If all goes according to plan we'll be selling the house this summer and buying bigger house with more land and less neighbors. So all my extra money has been tied up in getting the house ready and saving money. SO my next trip to Vegas isn't until October 2018. It sucks, like Danny said adulting isn't always fun, but it will be worth it. Looking forward to reading all about your trip.

We got our usual hometown crew @VEGASBJ although I don't think you've met any of them other than @Gaggles. Big sack, Brock and Uncle Tom will be in I am sure. @timchuk 'S boss is being a dick and won't give him the Friday off so unfortunately he is out. I messaged beeejay the dates but he's always last minute whether or not he's in or out.

 

I will live vicariously through you my friend and if I get down there I can either fill or clean out the machines for you lol
