You can try the request the desktop version feature by holding down the refresh button in Safari.

 

That only works for sites that serve two versions based on your browser.

This is responsive to the screen size only.

However I might have found a plugin for this so let me see how it goes.

Can you also have a return to top arrow that is used in mobile? Similar to the red down arrow to go to bottom of page?

 

Yeah I wish it had that too. Much more useful than the bottom arrow actually.

 

What are the "edit" restrictions as far as time is concerned? I used to be able to edit any post at any time.

 

yeah, I changed it to an hour.

I'm still torn about that. I like the idea of being able to edit anytime, but some people were going back and changing things after getting upset about something and that's just lame.

I hate the idea of a few people ruining things for everybody else, but I can't babysit the board either.

 

This explains a lot. I am not a fan. I have gone back to a couple of my recent trip reports and noticed that double posted a picture or even posted the wrong one from the get go .. but I can't go back an fix that.

I also need to be able to fix all those grammar issues that @B-S points out.
