So I love to play VP on bar tops. I think it's just something about not having to wait for a drink and some of them can be very fun. It's getting to be a giant pain in the ass now though with CET knocking their odds, along with MGM and Cosmo using ticket systems on some bars. So here are my top 5

    1. TAG at The Linq
    2. Sullys Bar at Ballys
    3. Bellagio Sports Book
    4. The Long Bar at The D
    5. The Cromwell

Honorable mention goes to Bugsys at Flamingo (affectionately known to us as the hooker bar), NYNY Center Bar, strip side bar at 4 Queens and the Prohibition Bar at the Golden Gate.

If you're downtown in the evening, try to grab the end spots nearest Fremont at the Four Queens bar, you are pretty much sitting out on the FSE. It's a great place to watch the shenanigans when the weather is good and the doors are wide open. 9/6 progressive quarter DDB too.

25c 9/6 JoB at the Boar's Head in MSS is a nice way to spend some time with half decent beer and low variance.

Somewhere else out of the ordinary is the bar at the front of The Orleans where there is a stage for bands in the evening.

Allow me to put in a good word for the Hard Rock's Luxe Bar located in the HRH Tower. The machines are newer and well maintained (ie: nice touch screens/no sticky buttons for those of you that prefer them). A few other features I enjoy, as a solo traveler, are fast and frequent drinks from friendly bartenders, nice loud music and fantasic HD flat-screens right in front of you for the game.

The pay-tables aren't the best in town, but far from the worst either. Nice place to relax and play.

What is the ticket system you mentioned?

Also to be ot, I put a vote in for the fusion bar in Palazzo for early morning gaming with some of the best Bloody Mary's around. Their paytables suck, but their bloody mary is phenomenal.

Mirage lobby bar, Bond at Cosmo and from what I heard the new sportsbook at Cosmo have a ticket system where your first drink is free, then you have to wait until the system decides you have earned another one and spits out a tickey out of the TITO thing. From what I've heard Cosmo is around $150 through. Aria Sportsbook bar was doing the one every half hour thing for awhile, but I don't know if they are now. CET has started their own system now as well, which the first place to try it is Caesars Sportsbook...Red light, green light.

This and Bond though I played less there with drink tickets. Though I do not think the system is horrible for a player like me who plays consistency anyway.

I also like Boars Head as my favorite DT bar to play at. Vue is nice but most of my play goes to BH.

I tested it last trip. Gives you a ticket between 15-20 minutes. You have to play at a consistent pace, when you stop for a minute or so the clock resets from what a bartender told me.
