You're probably wondering why this thread is starting so early. Well, I'm bored on my down day in the middle of a massive work trip and I'm staring upon the shores of Dubai looking at this unfinished Highroller ripoff dreaming of my trip in 1.5 weeks.

The plan? I will have finished up a 2.5 week trip across Dubai, HK, and Beijing. I'll be in Beijing on April 9 @ noon with 9:30 pm tickets to GnR. Don't think I can make it, well we'll see. Maybe I'll post some interesting ish in the meantime.

So here's the plan, kinda. Finish up my business trip with a flight back the US leaving Beijing at noon 4/09 with the GnR concert the same day at 9:30pm. Sound impossible? Maybe. Especially because I'm going to be relying on United being timely for the 1st time in my life. I plan to pull an all-nighter the night before, be sober enough to pass through immigration but drunk enough to crash on the plane (bad choice of words).
Then I have 3.5 hours for immigration at SFO, and onto a SWA flight to Vegas. Wish me luck!

Yeah, I'm personally betting they don't make it on stage in some Axl fit of rage. The band was before my time but awesome nonetheless.

 

I'm going on the 8th. I bet they don't get on the stage before midnight.

 

I was going to say something about if Axl shows up, but I didn't want to jinx it!

 

Can't complain about the food not being fresh in HK!
