    you need to try some real hollandaise.

    that one is bulk produced with all butter and no whisk.

    it should be 3x as thick.

    next time I'm at the Mansion come visit.

    we'll get you a proper King Crab benedict with a 1/2 oz caviar on top.

    no better benedict in the world.

    As an aside, try their sangrias, just delicious!

    You're right, the hollandaise was not great. The crab cake and eggs were the stars of the show.

    Your post reminded me of the traditional eggs benedict at Payard in CP. One of my favorites.

    One late morning after we have already made our bank, we should head over to MB and try that with some pictures of Sangrias to start the day!

    are these only available on the Sunday brunch menu or are they always an option?!

    I love a good eggs Benedict. The short rib Benedict at Henry is pretty good but it's nothing compared to the crab cake Benedict at The Chimes in Baton Rouge. The hollandaise has horseradish in it which makes all the difference.
