Hell, considering how often he's there, I'm surprised you didn't see him.

I love drinking on the plane, makes the time go by faster. It's a bit of a balancing act for me though, the flight time to Vegas is over 12 hours so can't get too drunk but can't stay too sober either or else I'll be bored to death. The worst part is standing in US border control when the line moves an inch per minute. Fuck, makes me feel dizzy just to think about it.

I have only twice, that I can recall (although usually in the first class cabin) in April when we took my wifes parents all FIL/MIL and I each had some wine, wife had a beer & the other was the only time I flew Southwest was going with some buddies window-&-middle man ordered jack & cokes; the flight attended dropped middle-guys right into my lap. So for "compensation" gave me a couple wines. I said it fine, didnt need a drink but buddies mucked it up so I folded.

It depends what time my flight is. I fly from the east coast so its a long flight and with the time change makes for a long first day. An early morning flight no. My last trip I left JFK at 3 pm. I had 3 or 4 on the plane. It was perfect, got to Vegas at 5-6 pm, I had one beer in the limo to the hotel and the driver asked if i wanted one to take up to the room with me.

I just received some vouchers from SWA about a month ago. I've flown with SWA for a good while now, but that is the 1st time I have got drink vouchers. Any idea how they determine when/who they send them to?

I usually have a few brews on the plane but plan on vodka and OJ or a BM this trip since it's an early flight.

Not sure on the formula. I was hoping to see a few more in the mail since my credit card anniversary just occurred. I did just get some in the mail but it was due to a very find fellow poster hooking me up.

It's not about the credit card. It's about number of flights.

When you fly 10 or more one-way flight segments in a calendar year, Southwest will send you four complimentary drink coupons if you are over 21 years old and if you've elected to receive them as part of your SW profile. So last year when I flew SW weekly I would get coupons every other month. Since I've started flying Delta or American I haven't received drink coupons but once this year and I have both SW credit cards
