Not usually, though it has happened. : )

I do have a tendency to get drunk in the airport waiting for my flight to Vegas though. : )

Morning flights out of BWI are now filled with training, trade show and conventioneers, plus just ordinary people who live there. Or through passengers. I see very few vacationers on outbound flights. A year or so ago, I was the only passenger that didn't deboard in Detroit.

Hence, a lack of early morning boozers, hence standing out and being given looks of disdain, which means I would rather have a water. I would rather take a few bong hits, too.

The funniest thing about this reply is that I'm writing it to myself, since the rest of you all have me on Ignore.

I love drinking on the 5+ hour flight to Vegas from Connecticut. However, I've cut back because I've found that drinking 5 drinks on the plane usually results in an early 1st night in Vegas. However, that rule may change for my flight in September when, for the first time in over 20 flights, I'll be flying in with a friend. And we don't arrive in Vegas until 5:30pm. So, I'm envisioning this upcoming flight will include many drinks. Cheers! :cocktail::cocktail::cocktail:

I ALWAYS drink on the plane. I hate sitting there so long and it makes time go faster. I start the 7 AM flight with Coffee & Baileys. Then Titos is my buddy the duration of the 5+ hours in air. I usually do pick at the lunch they serve and surprisingly not too drunk when I arrive in LV. I think the adrenaline on arrival burns the alcohol right up. Lol The downside is having to use the airplane restroom. Gross!

Even though the flight to Vegas is only an hour.... Vodka Tonic is a must on the plane. Typically get to airport early enough to have 1 or 2 before boarding. Gotta get the party started!

Our flight is 2hrs 40 minutes and I usually have one drink during the flight if it departs after noon. If we have an early flight (not often) we grab a drink in the airport before boarding. In that case I don't drink anything during the flight. This is because I try to avoid having to use the airplane restrooms (gross! - and I'm a bit of a germaphobe) unless absolutely necessary.

6am flight, screw driver before I take off. I get upgraded pretty much every single time I fly out of Chattanooga....its only 23 minutes in the air heh, but pre departure hell yes. Usually don't on way back though. I'm pretty much pickled at that point heh.

I fly a good bit for work and rarely ever drink even when they are free. Even when I fly to Vegas for work.

However, when I fly to Vegas for fun ... I always drink and over do it. A drink or two at the SkyClub then start as soon as I board and don't stop until they cut me off. Generally that means about 6-8 drinks on the 3 and a half hour flight. There have been flights where getting to Baggage claim was a challenge but not in awhile... more than 8 drinks.

Last trip was last minute so got stuck in economy comfort and brought extras with me. While me and my row mates drank doubles as often as we could, others were doing there fair share as they ran out of vodka on the plane.

Anyway, my trip in 2 weeks I will be trying to go easy on the flight so I don't crash early the first night but you never know. :)

We always take the 10:00 am flight from YVR and it's a quick 2 hour 15 minutes, so it's coffee for me. Get to the room though, and it's game on!
