When you fly on an airline to Vegas, do you have a few drinks during the flight?

I have never had an alcoholic drink on my flights as I figure if something wrong happens during the flight that I may have to fly the plane.... I'm not a pilot, but I do drive a F-150, so basically the same thing.

My next trip I think that I will have some drinks , I just don't want to get too sleepy as I usually stay up all night before my trip. I want to hit the ground strong.

How about you ? Do you enjoy some alcoholic beverages on your flight to Vegas ?

 

If I'm in first class, yes, so normally no. Haha. I'll try to get 3-4 in at the club beforehand, let that buzz cruise me through the flight, and put me in the right mind to hit it hard when I hit the ground.

 

Pretty much never even though I'm usually in first and they're free.

Don't know why, just don't have a desire.

 

since I have a short flight on SWA, I will usually have one beer before arriving.

 

Every single flight... 2 or 3 in coach...3 or 4 if I'm in first class... add to those numbers if I have a plane-change en-route.

 

Normally two in the bar before the flight and two on board. We usually get to the airport two hours early and I like to relax before the flight and once on board, it seems to make the 3.5 hr flight go quicker.

 

I drink every flight to Vegas. Then again, I drinkon every flight I take, if there is a drink service offered.

 

Classic line!!! I don't believe I've ever had a drink going into Vegas... though almost always I need to get into a rental car when arriving. I'm also the kinda drinker that doesn't like gaps. If I'm gonna drink, I keep 'em rolling until I'm done.

 

Same here. I'm either gonna drink until it's time to stop drinking or I'm not going to drink at all. Once the choice has been made to drink, then it's time to be an over achiever!

 

With 100+ trips, I've driven all but a tiny handful of times, so no boozy for me. Going other places I only rarely drink on flights, and then just a bit. I always seem to have something waiting on the other end -- typically a rental and some activity.
