Well I was in Vegas last weekend playing at Caesars Sportsbook. I was playing a little triple play and wasn't paying the least bit of attention to what else was going on. One of the bartenders came up to the person I was playing beside and asked her if she wanted a drink as she had earned one. She declined but this caused me to ask the bartender if they were doing the ticket thing? Indeed they were. This is not an issue for those of us playing multi play or heaven forbid Ult X but the single play quarter players might take issue with this.

I also stopped in at the Mirage sportsbar. I didn't play but I did overhear the bartender saying the best vodka they will comp is Absolute or Stoly. Call me a snob but those machines are all 10 play at the sportsbook. For $2.50 a spin you should be able to get Goose or Ketel.

Bottom line...EFF U Mirage Sportsbook. That is fu+king bullshit.

I can live with the ticket thing cuz I have seen so many people put in a $20 and play .25 till they order, get their drink and cash out. So I get that. Although I am sure that has been talked to death I am not opposed to it depending on the play expectations. I have no clue how much coin in it requires to get a drink. I have never been denied a drink or a shot of Fireball while I am playing even if I had a drink in front of me.

In any event, I am not sure if anyone knew or was particularly concerned but the thing at the Mirage kind of pissed me off and I wasn't even playing!

I agree. If you don't give them the business at the bartops, maybe they will change their tune or policies? hard to say as some of these bean counters are tone deaf..............................

What's dumb is the ticket system doesn't prevent that from happening now. As far as I've seen people still put in a $20 play a few hands, get a drink then bounce. It just screws .25 players.
