I'll put in another vote for the French 75. Love it. Refreshing and celebratory.

And, you knew I was going to do it ... Corpse Reviver No. 2! Equal parts gin (Hendrick's or Plymouth, I prefer), cointreau, lillet blanc, and lemon juice with a touch of absinthe or pastis (either priming the glass or drops shaken in). Served up with a cherry. Delicious and will fuck you up. Or return you to life.

Hmmmm, now I'm torn. Is a CR#2 a common drink in Vegas? Are most bartenders capable of making a decent one? Do you think I'd have a chance of getting a well made drink in the Paris Diamond lounge? It might finally be time to pop my CR#2 cherry.

IMO Bouchon @ Venetian makes the best CR#2 and good brunch too.

THIS...SOUNDS...DELICIOUS.... I wonder if any of the bars in Biloxi can make a good one of these...someplace at the Beau maybe? or the Hard Rock? To be honest, though, I wouldn't know a good one from a bad one. Yet!

This is a cocktail from TIEN at the IP in Biloxi. They are very, very tasty, and one of the most refreshing drinks I have ever had. I never understood the idea of cucumber in a drink (paging PayTriple) until i tried one of these little bastards. Plus, Tien is located right by the poker room at the IP so they are great for tilt removal! Highly recommended!

A good one, to me, is defined by a total balance of piquant/sour lemon and a slightly sweet undertone of the orange liqueur. It's really a good drink. Bouchon at the Venetian makes the best I've had, outside my own house. I've made it a personal mission to perfect it at home. Thankfully, it has required much experimentation.

I'll have to try that DannyOcean. I plan on going to Bouchon during my next Venetian stay anyway. I like their brunch and a CR #2 sounds perfect to accompany the food.

That is completely my Vegas MO. Early morning Bouchon with a couple of these and a French 75.

Shot of Jack and a bottle of Coor's Banquet.
And the Bloody Mary at The Chart House in Golden Nugget.
