Good Afternoon All:

I am sitting here in the middle of tax season working like a mad man and April 18th can't get here fast enough.

I could go a search the other board about the best downtown restaurant but figured I would just ask here. We are going to be in Vegas on April 21st-24th. We are staying at NYNY unless I win and then staying at the Skylofts. (Thanks Shifter). The plan is to go downtown Saturday night unless I am at UFC (again if I win) and we are looking for a steakhouse for 6 people.

My thoughts are:

Vic & Anthony (Maybe the preset menu for $49)
Oscars
Top of Binions (Someone in the group suggested)

Any suggestions?

Andiamo's in the D???

 

I will look into that as well. I am open to anything really.

Andiamos is legitmately as good or better than the steak on the strip. It's not cheap though so bring money or your big boy gambling shoes for comps.

 

The only two steakhouses I tried downtown are the Redwood at the California (the $21 porterhouse special - if it's still $21) and Andiamo's. Although more expensive I give a big thumbs up to Andiamo's - you won't be disappointed.

 

We enjoyed Andiamo's and Triple George down by the Downtown Grand... Also Redwood Bar & Grill at The Cal has an off the menu, 3 course 18oz. Porterhouse special for $24.00...
