Has anyone enjoyed this place? It is on Linq Lane, just a neat family style Italian restaurant. In the same building as Stage door casino (not the best clientele as far as it always looks)..

Seating was family style, and they put White and Red wine carafe on every table..

I just posted something about Battista's in my thread yesterday "Off Property Restaurants". Yes, been here with the family and kids several times. The food is good and they have some really good stuff as well. It is not '5 Star' it is a fun and solid place. If you are stuffy, need quite, keep your hands folded and await a celebrity chef prepared $80.00 '3-Course' meal, skip the place! If you like fun, noisy to loud, people singing, laughter and that type of atmosphere, go there. For the dollar it is very good but again and the deciding factor is the type of atmosphere you enjoy. The times we have been there, appears to be lots of family, kids as well as a share of regulars (locals?). Middle aged and up for the majority. Not many 20 or early 30 something newlywed's and partyer's, let's say that.

Nunt-uh. Maggiano's doesn't give me unlimited powdered hot chocolate posing as cappucino at the end of my meal. And it's a chain that I can go to at home. Maggiano's does have good food, but I've never had a bad meal at Battista's.

I never looked in the direction of Battistas due to my perceived perception of the next door sketchy stage door casino.. We stay in the Hilton grand vacations right behind the Flamingo, so the location was great for us.

Shockingly I enjoyed he food. Linguini and clams was quite good. In reality there's much better Italian to be found, but old school atmosphere is almost unbeatable. I'd eat their again, although would probably stick to same order and hope it matched up.
