And the Chargers did that for LA last year. The one thing the Raiders have going for them, OK, two, since the biggest thing going for them is dealing with Oakland and Alameda County, is that owners don't appear to give a fuck about this relocation in terms of ownership "friends" being played off against other "friends."

Amazing group of self-centered billionaires. And the public just buys the shit and opens the wallet.

I love how some folks open a negotiation by saying this is what I want and there is no negotiation.

My brother is a Raider fan, he lives in San Jose also, and he's even pulling for this move to Vegas lol. That would make for a hell of a weekend for sure.

If they've worked out the numbers and decided that they need $750M or the project won't work, then it makes sense that they would approach it like this. It's a proposal, not a negotiation. Personally, I think bringing an NFL team and a brand new stadium to Vegas would be an enormous draw for alot of people....much more so than hockey which always seemed like an odd choice to me. It would also round out the menu of things that there are to do there.

Finally, I'm all for a room tax that I will never pay anyway :) . Make it 20% and pay the stadium off next month lol.

The Las Vegas Raaaaai-dahhhs. A marriage made in heaven. This new stadium will work wonders for the resurgence of the UNLV gridiron boys as well. They will field a competitive team this season for the first time in years.
