Is Davis Copperfield's show worth the steep price? Also, can anyone give a recommendation of where to sit?

one of the worst shows in Vegas - only slightly ahead of Criss Angel. I would sit outside and wait for another show. If you have not seen Absinthe (sp?) it is a way better show.

I have reviewed Copperfield here prior (I think in the Criss Angel Believe thread), show was not good, audience was not responding or giving applause. Copperfield had to coax the audience to give applause at the end of each illusion. If you have seen any of the "Magician's secrets exposed" shows, it does not make these illusions good any longer. At the end of the show, they toss out beach balls to the crowd, and if you catch a beach ball, you get to be in the final illusion where he makes the audience go up on stage and then disappear. I was in that illusion, and I still did not think the show was good!!

I have been to a lot of shows in Vegas and I have to say David Copperfield might be my all time favorite. I ended up getting tickets at one of the discount booths that are all along the strip, I think I maybe paid 70-80$ish per ticket ?

His show at the MGM is very well done, I actually got pretty lucky and they moved up my parties seating to the front row and I got picked to be in the show. Perhaps that is skewing my perspective ? I recommend his show to anyone visiting Vegas, comparing it to Chris Angel ??? It's 10 times better...
