Credit Line Renewal

    Does anyone know if Aria/MGM requests supporting docs on all line renewals every couple years?

    Got a call from my host stating credit departments last check was two years ago and they needed to verify a couple things for line to be active next trip.

    First I've heard of this although being MGM it wouldn't shock me.

    What supporting docs? The only thing they might do is pull Experian and your bank balances. They do that regularly but it's all done behind the scenes.

    They want a call with bank to reverify average account balance / current balance.

    Is the OP a US resident with accounts in the US? I'm a Canadian resident with accounts at Canadian banks. I know that since I deal with a Canadian bank, I've had to give my written consent for my bank to be contacted and release any info.

    ive never had that happen. Maybe they do for line increases but I ever had that problem

    They just called and said everything is fine. Odd... well that was annoying.

    How long has it been between trips where you used the credit line? Do you have an upcoming reservation or did the host call you out of the blue?

    Last used it a few months ago, but last trip at Aria specifically was over a year ago. Upcoming reservation.
