Floor man at Cromwell said some WSOP guys gave them a beating a while back from the dont's with Max odds. Six figure wins for a few of them.

My strategy is to play the DP, and two DCs. If a shooter knocks me off all three, then I wait for the next shooter (if a seven hits on the come out after a point then I reset). Playing the don't is the opposite for everything, including what you're looking for. On the PL, you just want to stick around til that one huge roll comes along and you clean up and most of the other times you're losing or breaking even because you leave so much out there when the 7 comes. On the DP, you're simply looking to avoid that huge roll/hot shooter who can wipe you out. The rest of the time you're either winning or breaking even. Laying off a shooter once I've lost a DP and two DCs keeps me from digging a gigantic hole that is impossible to dig out of on the don't.

Obviously it doesn't mean I always win, as sometimes you just get ground down, but more often than not I can leave a winner and when I do lose it takes a LONG time for me to bust out.

This is how I like to play as well. DP with 2 DC's. If a shooter picks off one number I'll replace it with another DC. If they kick off more than one, I wait it out until the next shooter.

I just love it when I get 3 donts up with full odds and then the 7 comes. Having one number get rolled -7 (the one that's most likely to roll) get me paid on all 3 bets and makes me happy

Nice. I rather have the DP with full odds and sit and wait on the inevitable. No DC for me. What kills me isn't the hot shooter as I am long gone or on his side before that happens. Its the choppy table that I despise. Back and forth and we all get killed. Seven eleven on the come out means nothing at a 100x table either.

I'm with Packer on this one.
No DC for me. The money is made in the odds taken on the don't pass line.
I don't care about a few 7/11 on the come out either.

What's with all the hate on the DC? It's the same as a don't pass. When I play it, i back it with full odds just like a DP....its the same bet
