Played another session from the dont's at Cromwell last night. Entire table was on the pass line.
I was only player taking advantage of the 100x odds. Players were making 25$ pass line bets on 5$ table backed with minimal odds (!)
    I don't get that.
I weathered a good pass line run and table turned cold. Pressed hard and did very well. Max odds makes a HUGE difference to me in this game. However, a large bankroll is needed. Lost 3k in a short time.

I don't get it either. Craps can be a confusing and intimidating game for sure, but the concept of a line bet and odds are the most basic elements and the first thing you learn.

Nice job on the win. You're absolutely right about bankroll. Glad you had enough bullets to weather the storm and come out ahead

Oh shit. I must have misread it. I thought he went down 3k quick and then hit a hot run pressing his bets and came out ahead. My bad.

    Sorry. Poor paragraph structure.
    Hard4 is correct.
Lost a quick 3k when table heated up but had plenty of bankroll to weather it.
Left up 4650$ when table turned ice cold. Brrrrrrrr.

Held back a bit after buy in but went 100x odds after that. Once other end made 4-5 passes I stopped betting. Dice passed and went back to full odds. Worked out well.
Other end stayed waaaaaaaay too long and gave back most of their winnings. Gotta hit and run.

I've found that if the shooter knocks me off a don't, I will give them one more chance if I don't already have a don't up elsewhere then I'll just sit that shooter out.

The tables that are middle of the road drive me crazy regardless which side I'm hanging out on.

Last time 8 was rolled 10 times in a row. I just sat there and watched it after being knocked off.

if an 8 was rolled 10x in a row, I would have been at table max on the 8 pretty quickly!

Yeah, I was sitting there just shaking my head. My buddy was on the 8 so he made a little bank but he's not aggressive on pressing. I never chase numbers in dice. Seen it many times where I missed a run, but seen far far far more people chase a numbers and get wiped out. If I was on the do's that night yeah I would have been up good. This table had a max of I think $10k or $50k, it was way up there compared to vegas. Hell you needed a break when walking from one end of the table to the other it was so damn long. Rivers in Chicago.
