has anyone ever tried this strategy?

i will use this example on a $5 table with 3x,4x,5x odds. and the point being a 6. starting bankroll $250


1st bet
$5 pass line
$5 dont pass line with $12 on dont pass line odds.
if the point hits wait for a NEW shooter.


2nd bet
$5 pass line
$5 dont pass line with $24 on dont pass line odds.
if the point hits wait for a NEW shooter.


3rd bet
$10 pass line
$10 dont pass line with $48 on dont pass line odds.
if the point hits wait for a NEW shooter.


4th bet
$20 pass line
$20 dont pass line with $96 on dont pass line odds.
if the point hits wait for a NEW shooter.

Horrible strategy. Why risk the flat bet on the line when you can just pay the $1 and lay against the point? Oh and laying against a number is bad as well, one standard deviation from the norm wipes you out.

 

well whats the best way to play the dont side?
