I have already gotten some great advice but I figured I would ask everyone here anyway.... j/k ...

I know there was some mention of the Terrace Suite on this thread:

I am trying decided on taking a Terrace Suite in the West tower versus a One Bedroom in the East. The One bedroom is smaller but is the East tower and view worth it. Both will have fountain views. The One bedroom is a smaller comp $$ but not much difference. I will be solo.

I guess the big question. Which tower is better? for view? access? East or West?

I prefer East tower just to quicker walks to the room and also quicker access to the slot floor

    Views about the same imho

I love east tower because I love coming out of the elevator right on the floor, but I almost always end up in West with a 1 bedroom terrace suite. It's not that far so I don't really mind. Access isn't bad. Compared to other properties, it's a minuscule distance.

I prefer the east tower as well. But of course the Cosmo isn't the size of say MGM grand so distance is all relative. As for room type, I actually like the terrace studio better than the one bedroom. Never stayed in the terrace suite though.

It does appear to have a quick access to the floor and the strip but as mentioned, it really isn't that big of casino (I am used to MGM). And if the View is about the same, then it would really be for the access. The suite will give me more space but being solo and not spending that much time in the room, I am not sure it really matters. Thanks for all the input.

    East Tower hands down
all the cheap City rooms are in the West Tower, none in East
    so elevators are busier

Now that is something I haven't thought about ... but I like your thinking. Thanks.

I guess I'm in the minority but i prefer the west tower, more quiet and right by check in. Also there is no comparison regarding the rooms, the terrace suite is just awesome. The only advantage staying in the east tower is the direct strip access and closer to most of the restaurants.

The only problem is that its just in theory, in fact its the other way around. The east tower elevator can sometimes be chaotic especially during pool hours due to blvd pool. The west tower has a much better setup and more elevator banks and i have never run in to any problems there.

Good points. I might just have to flip a coin at this point but I am leaning towards the East Tower just for convenience and I don't spend a lot of time in the room.
