Okay, you all are doing lots of dancing but I have not read a suggestion! Fear not, I am from the Government and here to help.

This is my favorite go to cheap wine these days. I think its a real gem for $6 a bottle. Try it, you will like it.

Thank you. I will try it. After clicking the link it reminded me of a wine I drank many bottles of. I was happy with it and my local liquor store would put it on clearance from time to time. Solid value.

I can't get that locally.

 

Also, any that may not be up to snuff after tasting, we cook with it in something. Most cheap wines are really fine for adding to a sauce or reduction.

 

I've had that one and found it perfectly drinkable for the price point.

A couple of my other "go to" everyday reds are: Wente Cab and Fog Mountain Cab. I also like Bogle Old Vine Zin. All come in under $20, maybe even under $15.
