so how much are these points worth?

I got an offer for 315k points just for showing up on a weekend I'm going to be in town anyway.

trying to figure out if it's even worth my time to show up if all that gets me at the shopping event is a toaster.

I've only taken part once...I had like 25,000 points only. I know a Bose speaker that retails for like $120 (the colourful ones) was like 35,000 points. I know the points I had got me $100 freeplay.

I think last year, a $100 gift card required 35,000 GGWU points. There is better value in buying hard goods with your points if there is something that you want.

I've turned 300k GGWU points into a Large Tumi luggage piece, a nikon camera, cuisinart food processor and a hair dryer.

You can only redeem them at one of 2 GGWU events :

    Event Dates:
    November 3 - 7, 2016

    November 30 - December 4, 2016

ok so it sounds like it's worth about $1500-2000 in stuff.

that's probably worth my time in limoing over there and checking in.

the issue is coming back during the event window.

those are shitty weekends, for obvious reasons.

I believe that you earn 1 GGWU point per 1 earned TC as well.

You must have a shit load of gift points for mlife. I know that last year, the mlife and CET gift weekends did line up.

I have a big one (that I got at a Beau shopping event years ago) and my wife just picked up a carry on last trip at the new Tumi store in the Vegas airport.

I'd like to get a couple of mid-sized ones. those are great for travel overseas because you can easily carry them on to trains, etc.
