Yep! There's a great video going around of a shirtless JR Smith blasting everyone in sight with champagne. Now... he did just win an NBA title, but other Cav's players (Richard Jefferson) are there also with their shirt tucked-in, looking like they've been there before, but not JR... full on thug-mode, right after he gave such a well-received, heartfelt post-game press conference about his life, his parents, the depths of his battles with demons, etc. OH... JR bein' JR, but what the hell, he's an NBA Champ today!

I kinda think the guy who dumped the entire bottle of champagne over the cocktail waitresses head was an ass. You could tell she wasn't thrilled but tried to smile it off where he then preceded to dismiss her entirely. Looks like a bunch of assholes to me. Not impressed.

Is it dickish to suggest that she still probably got paid 15% gratuity on it so probably got a decent chunk of change for the pleasure!

On that point do the waitresses get the tips at that level or do the clubs take them?

I would make a terrible waitress. Lol I would not have been as gracious especially for only a 15% gratuity ( or whatever she made). There are many pro sportsmen in this world that have class I can be a "fan" of. Most of these guys don't deserve any of that dedication. I'm sure those girls just split whatever tip the team left. The club got the money for all the overpriced alcohol or perhaps the club hosted it complimentary for publicity.

Heather, I think you might have a bit of trouble with much of what today's pro athletes do for entertainment.
    Especially the NBA.
Think of a semi-continuous PT party interrupted by early evening athletic endeavor.
Rock and rollers' entourages pale in comparison.

Probably why I don't watch basketball or follow them at all. Lol Nothing surprises me and I've been around enough pro athletes to know what goes on and hear their stories. I just would never participate. ;) Their mothers needed to slap them upside their heads as children is all.
