Have a quick 2 night trip scheduled up to Casino WIndsor, it's about a 3.5 hr drive from the house, and looks like I'll be leaving about 3:30pm today. Looking forward to the free room, the indoor pool (it's still pretty cold here in midwest), exchange rate, and just relaxing for two nights, alone and with little distractions.

I'm sure there will be some drinking and gambling, the drinking I'm positive on, the gambline, I'm going to go with what I feel, hoping they have UTH up there, but none listed on site. If not, I'll probably hit a mix of roulette, VP, Pai Gow, and depending on what limits they have for bacc, might play that as well.

I'll do my best to update it as I go along, since I'm not with anyone, you'd think that would be easy, but then again we know how trips go sometimes.

For some background on the reason for this trip, my Vegas trip this week was cancelled due to a function I want to attend for my daughter on the weekend. However, I wasn't inclined to completely give up something, as I'm going through a separation with the wife of 15 years, that started back in December. No sympathies needed, the decision has been mine to end things, and most that look at the whole situation would probably take my view with it. Rather be in Vegas, but when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.

Made it here in about 3 hours, glad maps took me through tunnel rather then bridge as bridge was backed up for miles. In and out through tunnel.

Don't think I've been here since they added Augustus tower, walk from self park to hotel lobby was ridiculous.

Since you cancelled Vegas this weekend I think the only proper thing to do is come memorial day weekend! More then welcome to gamble with our crew!

 

So gambling not good, but not bad, a little luck from here for night brings even and with drinks costing $ it would be a plus

 

End of night, finished at 230am, which considering limited budget, not bad, but with low budget as always hard to find streak, tomorrow and her day though, had my fill of Jameson

 

Next year , my soon to be ex's bday is 6/1 and since she hasn't given up yet I still need to work that one out
