The level of my play has never warranted CET setting me up with a host, however my last couple of trips my ADT has been quite a bit higher than usual, so I was hoping my offers would improve a bit. Today I got the following e-mail:

    Dear ...,

My name is ..., I am a Casino Account Executive for Caesars Entertainment and Total Rewards. I'm writing to introduce myself as your new point of contact for any pre-trip arrangements you need to make at any of our Total Rewards properties. This is a service we extend to our most-valued guests as a way to say thanks for your loyalty.

I am your contact for anything from special events to hotel rooms to dinner reservations, and I can also reserve any of the offers you get in the mail. In addition, I will let you know about giveaways, tournaments, and special events based on what interests you at our properties.

Please feel free to ask me if you have any questions about Total Rewards or the benefits I can provide at our many properties in North America. I will be checking in periodically to inform you about certain events that take place across our properties.

I look forward to speaking with you in the near future, until then, good luck and best regards.

Best I can tell, this is simply somebody on the sales team who may work directly with a host. It seems pretty easy for me to book rooms, shows, dinners, etc. by myself either online or on the phone; are there any benefits of working through this guy instead, or is this just simply a way of saying, "We saw you upped your play, c'mon back and do it some more?"

I believe it is an inside sales person. They are usually assigned to players that have decent play, but when their ADT is below "Executive Casino Host" level. They cannot apply discretionary comps on the back end. You can still seek out a host to have your play checked for back end comps at the end of your trip.

Trigger - I got the same email yesterday. I thought it was weird because I don't have a host at Caesars and in my most recent trip 2 weeks ago I barely gave Caesars properties any play.

Newmans is right, I used to have one of these. He was based at corporate rather than property based, and could not review play for backend comps.

Good for booking offers which can be a pain on the website, that's about it though.

A will concur with previous posters. Occasionally they can get you an offer that may be sold out or NA when you can't book it yourself. Sometimes they can add something minor like Freeplay to an existing offer. Otherwise they don't do very much. I am currently seeing whether my guy can get me into the "almost sold out event" Feast of the Gods offer in October. He said he would let me know if he could get me in "by last Saturday morning at the latest". I am still waiting.... He booked me a room and gave me the offer code for Caesars but I can get that online by myself.

The event is sold out when I try to book it so if he can get me in then I would suggest these guys are good for something. Otherwise they are pretty much telemarketers. Wish me luck cuz the offer is pretty good!!!!

Good luck but the line on him coming through is, like, +320.
