Caesars or usual Mlife stay?

I am a 90% Mlife stay and play person. However work is sending me to a conference next month to the holy grail and the conference is being held at Caesars. Work will be paying 100% of the stay so what are the thoughts on booking Caesars compared to using one of my own actual Mlife offers with comps/reduced rates, free play/f&b? Or even booking say Aria which work will cover 100% and not use my own offers.

My gambling won't be near as much as it typically is as it's a solo trip. Wife gets most of the comps with her slot play and my video poker play won't add up. I don't want to mess with future comps too much at places where I typically get 2 nights comped like NYNY/MC/Aria. However, I plan on playing at those places even if I stay at Caesars.

So thoughts if play will be lower and don't want to affect future comps too much based on this one low play trip? I can book directly with any place and have work cover the hotel stay. Leaning towards that rather then using my personal comps/reduced rates. Just wondering what others would do.

If your company is paying and you may short play them don't use your comps.
Been to many meetings in Caesars convention center and it feels like miles including up and down escalators to get there.
Not a fan of Caesars but I would think about staying there if the meeting is over a couple days.
You can still play at MLife casinos on either side of Caesars.

I agree... stay at Caesars and don't use comps. Build some comps at CET for free rooms for friends. I do this from time to time. Give them some play to get a free room offer and give it to a friend when we go.

I'll be have to attend the conference for three days. I'll plan on price comparing Bellagio and Caesars. Maybe even Mirage but if going Mlife, just book direct without my comps/offers and let the company back normal rate. Then just decide whether to use my card or not at mlife since play will be quite a bit lower.

Well, if you're low-roller, you could at least use your card to scoop up the points from MLife. It's 25 tier credits per dollar spent. If you spend $1k there over the three days, that's 25k tier credits. Could bump you to the next level.

Of course, there's nothing very special about that until you get to platinum. But, gold and pearl can skip some of the cafe / buffet lines.
