Shares of Caesars Entertainment Corp. tumbled on Wednesday after a court-ordered investigation found the casino company could face billions of dollars in potential damages related to the bankruptcy of its operating unit.

Looks like they could face up to $5.1 billion since the court appointed investigator agreed that they were playing a shell game with their hotel assets.

Shareholders eat it, as usual.

 

What they tried to do was fraudulent. You and I would be in jail.

 

And I'm going to guess that fine ends up with many, many zeroes slashed off it.

 

The audacious thing was their move was a patently obvious shell game.
I wait to be very surprised if those who tried this move are even touched.
The number of things I see done by those "too big" to really get hammered never continues to amaze.
And my company has to watch its ass and hope I don't make the wrong enemy regardless.
