I'm staying downtown for a few days in a couple of weeks. Cabana is $150 minimum spend for a Friday. Rates for March were $75. It's no golden nugget but I'm sure it'll be fine. Looks nice and they're actually putting effort behind it. Figured I'd share the info in case anyone was looking for an inexpensive cabana. I'll post a review of it in a few weeks.

So curious about this place. I tried to check it out last time I was there but it was right before they re-opened.

We hung out at DTG pool last labor week. Cabana's are nice and its a heck of a deal comparison to the strip. However the bad news is you pretty much want to use that $150 on booze. The food service on the pool deck was pretty uneatable IMHO I probably ate the nastiest tasting Caesar chicken salad ever, my wife had some type of wrap that tasted like it came out of a 7 Eleven cooler. Contrast that to great prices and food at Stewart and Ogden on the main floor.

It gets pretty hot on top of hotel, so I don't think I would want to stay up there all day. They put in a pretty nice pool as part of the remodel and the loungers are comfortable, more so then Caesars palace Garden of the Gods unless you had a daybed there.

Also in bad news, not a lot of beautiful people there on the few days I went. So if you like to people watch you might be disappointed, in truth I am an overweight middle aged guy in my 40's so no one wants to look at me in my swim trunks either although dad bods are in I hear. Luckly Mrs. F. stays in bikini shape for the both of us.

I'm hoping the Citrus redo helps solve some of the problems. I'll be posting a review to see if anything changed.
