I do not believe you should feel like a pos, you are not the one who did not make any attempt to repay the 1st one. I do not like asking people for something but, IF I do, I am sure to repay it and or return it.

You made the choice to give this person the funds the first time but they made the choice not to return it. You should not feel bad for saying no.

If you didnt pause on the first two loans, then you have already told him.

I doubt he will ask again as a true friend already knows the answer.
If he does go there, then your friend is really a douche. We do not earn our friendships with money, and we should not have this as a factor to keep it.

I wouldn't give him the 30,000. And in fact, I'd ream his ass and tell him:
WTF? How dare you ask for more money when you haven't even paid back the two prior loans? Where's MY money, bitch?
Of course, I have a big black ex-military bodyguard to do the enforcing, lol!

Lmfao! Im sure you know I'm too nice at times . How much does he charge ;)??? He seems like a great guy when I met him!

But in all honesty, he was like my brother and we were basically family until we went our own ways a few years after I got married.

There are people in my life that I would loan whatever I could if they needed it. I also have family that I wouldn't walk across the street to piss on if they were on fire. I worked as a poker dealer in college, and there were plenty of people who would always be asking for a loan. Some of them I would loan them the $20 that they were asking for, knowing that I wouldn't get it back, just so that in the future if they asked again I could say that you never paid back the last time. Similar to that scene in A Bronx Tale, it cost me a little money to not have to deal with them again.

Shit. ive loaned money to fiend and never got paid back. So I tell everyone I don't loan out till I get paid back. Eazy answer to toher people.. I loaned over 7 grand to my brother over a year and a half before and never got paid back. I went to my dad to get paid in full since I know he borrowed from him too. Ive loaned my brother another 1700 to have him make ends. he is married with kids and lives in a nice house. But im getting tired of this shit. Ive told him no before but then say yes at times. I guess knowing my dad will make me whole so Ive loaned it out. Oh well. When my dad dies Ill just fuck him over as Im the executer. A couple friend ill loan but its usually just a few hundy or so as we have no cash on us. Always paid back quick.
