    PayPal does not take money if you are sending a payment to someone under the "send payment to family/friends" option and do so via a checking account.

    If you send a payment for goods or purchases then the seller pays the processing fee

    The girl I mentioned earlier was paying me back for a concert ticket. She sent me like 10 different payments totaling $250ish. I now believe that she may have used various credit cards to pay me lol. Whatever the case, the activity triggered my account to be limited and I had to explain the purpose of these $5-20 dollar payments that she sent me.
