I took advantage of some show tickets to see a Taiwanese pop star who was performing at Borgata compliments of my host at Caesars. I had not played any table games at Borgata and hadn't been there in years; I played some craps and enjoyed playing there.

After upgrading my red label card for a black label (using my 7* card), I spoke to the host on duty and asked about cross-pollination between here and LV and she confided that currently there's nothing going on. They're not even cross-promoting Boyd properties out there. However, she did say that there's going to be a big announcement coming soon (next few months?) with Borgata and MGM and that I should stay tuned for that. She couldn't divulge any details but it sounded like MLife and My Borgata player card systems were going to do some cross-marketing which is great for someone like me who is new to Borgata and is looking to add another property to get comps from when I head out to LV.

Mohegan and Foxwoods should do something like that too.

I believe MGM has owned a stake in the Borgata since its inception. From my very bad memory, there was a period of time where the MGM relationship was called into question over some other scrupulous Chinese mafia connection... but I don't think that's the case any longer.

In fact, you can already tier match between MLife and Boragata.

The only thing else I could imagine them doing is being able to earn tier credits for MLife at the Borgata and vice versa or perhaps matching marketing offers.

I was just invited to a Borgata promotion of 2 free nights at an MGM property in Vegas with $50 match play. I'm picking it up next Saturday. I'll let you know what it entails.

Yankees, I also got an offer (actually better than any mLife offer I've gotten) but can't make it down this weekend to pick it up. Curoius if there are restrictions on the voucher.

Great. When you do get there, can you ask them if they're going to start running permanent cross-marketing offers? I'm looking to expand my play from CET properties herein AC that I can use when I travel out to LV. So for me, it's either Trop or Golden Nugget or Borgata.
