Long story short about 6 months my best friend was driving from Texas and well we are all degenerates and decided to stay in AC for one night. My question to all of you guys, and girls is what is there to do? Restaurants? I really have no idea as I will be going there July 4th -the 8th staying at borgata. Just trying to get some ideas as 4 days in Atlantic city I feel is a long time. Thanks!

    That's a long time.

You can do the beach, but I wouldn't. You can chill at the pool. Walk the boardwalk. There is a large outlet mall and pier shops over by Caesars.

If you're into golf, you can hit up the Seaview resort. Very historical golf resort close to AC. Played one of their courses there and it was nice. Used to be on the PGA tour.

There are some crappy strip clubs around there as well if that's your thing.

They have comedy shows at the Borgata and nice restaurants. Horse betting is big there as well.

Thanks Unda! Going to six flags NJ one day since it's an hour away. Will probably just drink and gamble. It's what happens regardless usually

Yeah... but there's much less to do around Atlantic City.

You should check out White House subs while you're there. Definitely an institution in the AC area.

You can also hit Philly for the day... it's only an hour or so away. Pat's and Geno's steaks aren't too far off the highway if you want to experience the birthplace of the (cheese) steak. Pat's King of Steaks actually has it's own historical landmarker.

Other than that... stay close to the casinos.

I like Martorano's at Harrahs to eat Italian while in AC.

As mentioned, there isn't a ton to do in AC other than the casinos. Borgata is definitely the nicest in town. Also, Six Flags isn't a bad idea, they have some pretty fantastic rides. Kingda Ka is ten years old but no joke, still the tallest coaster in the world, and the new Joker ride looks pretty interesting.
