So we meet again! I’ve decided my attempt at a TR will be made yet once again. Let’s see if I can do better, be more entertaining, make memories, as well as keep up with this thing! It’s a difficult task which I have struggled with thus far.

I’m going to keep my normal format and try to explain the who, what, where, and how much.

Background

I was given the task of putting a Vegas March Madness trip together to unite people from California, MO, OH, KY to Geneva Switzerland and well it just didn’t come together as expected. Last year we did March Madness and I was able to do the above but it just didn’t work this time. So at this point it will be my usual buddies who I do my degenerate adventures with. It will be my 2 friends and Im from my hometown that will be partaking on this trip. We are early 30 – early 30’s. Man that isn’t fun saying. I’m the one who is 30 and well I just don’t like it.

Gambling Habits

I do it all. I will play slots (all of em! Regular and HL), craps, poker, sports bet, and all the above. I “attempt” to stay away from slots in Vegas as they have been my demise in the past but we’ll see what happens. It’s normally my degen attempt at getting some of my BR back by playing HL slots. Most of the time it works (ya right).

Flight

I’m driving back to my hometown in Kentucky to fly out and will be leaving from the Louisville airport. The reason I’m doing this is because I have a dog and the easiest route was to have my parents take care of him while I am gone. He isn’t really used to being boarded so I preferred against that route. Last time I boarded him he acted like I took him to Alcatraz and left him to die. He honestly seemed depressed for numerous days until he finally snapped out of it.

Hotel

Planet Hollywood - March 16-21st. I am booked here in a Resort Room with March Madness party tickets for Thur-Sunday at the PH party and I think $75 in free play.

Monte Carlo - March 18-19. I received an email a few weeks ago about a free slot tournament and a complementary stay. The offer included free entry to the slot tourney with a guaranteed payout of $100, $50 resort credit, and free accommodations. At first I thought this isn’t worth it with resort fees and hassle but I decided to call them up and see what I could get done. I asked how much the resort fees were and she says $0 because I’ve already waived it. WOW! You are trying to make me switch to MGM…a good experience with no hassle. (Let’s see what happens though.) I don’t plan to stay here though and haven’t heard much anything good at Monte Carlo so if I give them any play it will probably be at Aria I don’t really want any future offers from MC.

To-Do

I always have high hopes and even create me a word document planning out each day. (I’ll share that if any interest). I’m very good at planning but extremely bad at executing. I get a few things done off the days list and then get smashed and gamble my face off. That’s about how it always goes.

Some of the things on my list are:

- Play my first hand of baccarat (this was on my last TR)
- Go Downtown and visit some of the places I haven’t seen (Count’s Kustoms, Pinball Hall of Fame, Toy Shack, Gamblers General Store). Also to check out the slots the D bought from the Rivera on the 2nd floor and play the Sigma Derby.
- I also have an off-site casino day planned in which we got a rental car in order to visit some of the Boulder Highway Casinos and some off-strip ones we haven’t been to. I collect $1/$5 chips so I’m trying to add to the collection. We at first thought about booking a night in Laughlin just to check it out and see what it’s about but don’t think we will do that.
- I heard there was a promotion for $100 buy-in at any table game with the Plaza and D you get a March Madness shirt? Free souvenirs! Sure why not!
- 3/18 10PM Craps meet at an undecided location with some VMB, VB, members.
- Slot tournament
- Meet up with some board members (Frosty, Rocky, Bears, and others)
- Get one of my buddies drunk enough to do some of the ignorant things he normally does. I just text him today and said “Man, you have been too good at control yourself on our recent trips. We are going to have to change that and get you sloppy drunk as we can have some good stories to tell.” The only recent stories are from PT’s parties! Which will always be engrained in my head. Thanks PT for the previous generosity!

I don’t want to bore everyone with my to-do’s but that those are some of them. Not sure what will happen as it goes down but we shall see.

The only thing I’m going to miss is daily fantasy sports. I have been playing everyday and well you can’t in Nevada. I’m sure March Madness will make up for it!

Appreciate it man. It won't be the same without attending a PT party! I hope I can get it going again on the dice tables. It's been good to me lately! I was sad you missed it bc you would have made some pretty decent cash. I was all in and 10x'd my money.
