Gee, I once lost about 50 bucks on one of those split/doubles.

 

That was faster than I thought it would be. However, the pressing helps with the time and i am always in favor if hit in run.
Seems like the when to run is the Mil $ question. That is a great story.

 

Thanks. In my experience, when it happens, it goes really fast. I've only had a few times in my entire gambling career where I had a sustained good run over a period of days. It's much more likely that you have a good half hour or so where you win 80%+ of your hands and then get out before the roof caves in. When to run is the million dollar question....anytime before you have given it all back is a good start lol.

 

Every once in awhile I will surrender but my rule to myself if I surrender is to put the surrendering half on the next hand

 

I do something similar when I surrender. Two hands for the price of one.

 

I'll retreat and counter attack...non negative term for surrender.
