BJ 2D or 1D...fifth card draw?

    Yeah - I don't care for the single-deck game. Their double-deck shoe is quite good though... $5 min...3:2, H17, DAS permitted....only cutting away about a third.
    Easily, the best blackjack available downtown.
    Other dowtown casinos have the same game, but at higher minimums...
    Plaza - $25
    'theD' - $50
    Golden Gate - $15 (daytime) & $25 (night).

    If you don't count, but you do play a solid basic strategy, Golden Gate has a very good 8 deck (I think) shoe game... $15 min, 3:2, S17, DAS permitted, LS permitted... (or, at least they used to offer this game...weekday, daytime hours).

    ...but speaking of basic strategy, I have a quick off-topic question: when playing freebet-blackjack, is it proper strategy to take the free double with an A-9?
    Instinctively, I would never do it, but in that game, it may be correct to do so...does anyone know?
